I was out for a run through Islington last year when I ran by the original “Removal Man” & did a massive double take. I came back next day as soon as I could to take photos, put them up on my Facebook page & got a mass of comments from my friends about how uncannily it looked like me. I even went through photos of me that were online desperately trying to find one that it had been copied from – even the watch strap look right ! Then the story came out in the Press about who it actually was & I eventually managed to get in touch with DS through Steve. He then really kindly agreed to do another especially for me & it will soon be pride of place in my flat once it’s framed. As you see, it’s still my facebook profile photo !
